Brabus B40S-800: 800 PS and 1,000 Nm

The B40S-800 upgrade reworks the 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo through modified engine management, uprated high-performance turbochargers, and an optimised charge air system. Output rises from the standard 585 PS to 800 PS (588 kW); torque from 850 Nm to 1,000 Nm, delivered through the 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9G-TRONIC. The Valved Sports Exhaust System in Shadow Chrome provides driver-selectable acoustic management across the full rev range, with valve control independent of drive mode selection. AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension is fitted, controlling body roll under the elevated torque output without altering the G-Wagen’s ground clearance or approach geometry. The 4×4 drivetrain channels output through three differential locks to all four wheels on demand.

Exterior: Widestar Kit and Carbon Programme

The BRABUS Widestar body kit adds extended fender flares front and rear, widening the G 63’s track stance to accommodate the 24″ Monoblock ZV forged wheels. The carbon programme on this unit covers four distinct elements: Carbon Powerdome on the bonnet, Carbon Rear Spoiler “PUR” at the tailgate roofline, Carbon Roof Attachment with integrated LED lighting running the width of the roof panel, and a Carbon Spare Wheel Cover on the rear door. The AMG Night Package runs obsidian black across the mirror housings, bumper inserts, spare wheel ring, and brake calipers front and rear, with a dark chrome radiator grille and darkened light units throughout. AMG Night Package II extends the treatment to the AMG bonnet emblem in dark chrome, the Mercedes star front and rear in high-gloss black, and all exterior typographics in high-gloss black. The AMG-specific exhaust system exits in black; MANUFAKTUR running boards in black finish the sills.

Interior: “Black” Edition Execution

The interior is built to Brabus “Black” Edition specification. Full BRABUS leather upholstery covers all seating surfaces; Alcantara is applied to upper surfaces and contact points throughout the cabin. The Brabus Shell Design runs across multiple interior elements. The “Black” Edition label is embossed on the seats, sun visors, and headrests, embroidered on the headrests, and engraved on the steering wheel spoke — the designation appears consistently across every named surface. Seat panels are leather-covered. Shadow Chrome Matte accents run through the cabin on all applicable trim surfaces alongside AMG carbon trim elements. The AMG Performance steering wheel is finished in carbon design with MICROCUT microfibre. Active multi-contour seat package Plus provides lumbar support, lateral bolster adjustment, and massage across the front seats. The ENERGIZING package Plus integrates seat climate, fragrance, and ambient lighting into selectable comfort programmes configurable through MBUX.
