Brabus Powerxtra B40-700: 700 PS

The Powerxtra B40-700 upgrade reworks the 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo through modified engine mapping, uprated turbochargers, and revised charge air management, raising output from the standard 585 PS to 700 PS. The BRABUS Sport Exhaust System with flaps handles acoustic management across the rev range, with valve control selectable independently of drive mode. AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension manages the elevated output on the raised 4×4² platform. The Brabus B badge and all four brake calipers are finished in Tiffany Blue with Brabus lettering.

4×4² Portal Axle Platform

The 4×4² uses portal axles: the drivetrain exits each differential above the wheel centre rather than in line with it, raising the entire axle housing. Ground clearance increases by approximately 100 mm over the standard G63, improving approach, departure, and ramp-over angles without suspension modification. The principle is drawn directly from the original military G-Wagen specification. Mercedes-Benz produces the 4×4² in limited annual volumes; it carries a significant factory premium over the standard G63 AMG before any Brabus conversion is applied. The carbon 4×4 spare wheel holder is fitted to the tailgate.

Exterior: Widestar, Carbon Programme, and Tiffany Blue Accents

The BRABUS Widestar body kit extends the fender flares to accommodate the BRABUS Monoblock HD wheels. The carbon programme covers the Powerdome on the bonnet, the rear spoiler, and the Carbon Roof Attachment with integrated LED lighting across the roof panel. Carbon DRL inserts with LED are fitted at the front. BRABUS Scuff Plates with LED illumination line the door sills; BRABUS Aluminum Door-Lock Pins are fitted throughout. Heat-insulating dark-tinted glass is applied to all windows. The AMG Night Package runs dark chrome and obsidian black across mirror housings, trim surrounds, and light housings. The interior is a full custom build under the Exclusive Line Interior Plus specification. Tiffany Blue exclusive leather covers all seating surfaces. The “700” designation is stitched directly into the headrests; the airbag cap is trimmed in Alcantara with Tiffany Blue double stitching. Anti-Chrome trim elements replace all standard chrome detailing in the cabin. AMG carbon-fibre trim and the AMG Performance steering wheel in Carbon and Dinamica microfibre are fitted. Active Multicontour Seat package Plus provides lumbar, bolster, and massage adjustment across the front seats. Ambient lighting, the Burmester surround sound system, and the AMG DRIVE UNIT steering wheel buttons for direct drive mode and exhaust flap control complete the specification.
